"happiness is HERE"

My earliest memories are of Disney World - It's a Small World, the Snow White ride, etc. We moved when I was three so it was especially fun to spend the day with Blue reliving those memories and wondering if he will now have the same experience. Although we skipped the Snow White ride. That one scared me ;).

 

 

The day was beautiful and we went with our good friends from down the hall. Wiley stayed home with the sitter and it was nice to be able to focus on just one kid. Although we did miss her. There were definitely parts of the day that she would have enjoyed. We are already planning a return trip with more adults and she will be able to join in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It takes about an hour to get to the park from our house but it is an easy ride. I think it must always be a little crowded but we stuck to the older, less "exciting" rides and our waits ranged from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. We did the FastPass on the fancy new Buzz Lightyear ride so we didn't miss out entirely. I think we rode eight rides in total!

 

 

Both boy's favorite ride by the end of the day was the race cars. They got to steer and sit in a real race car and it was a pretty long track. We started the day at the rocket and Blue really did not want to get on. He is cautious and hesitant to try new things. We talked him into it and didn't have trouble the rest of the day until we came to the tea cups. He freaked out as we were walking to the cup which seemed weird on such a basic ride. Turns out, he was afraid the teapot on the middle of the ride was going to pour tea on us as we spun around! I agree, that would not have been fun. I assured him that no such thing would happen and we finished out our day with a smile.
