SPRING is here

Spring in Texas means Bluebonnets!!! These pretty blue flowers are the official state flower and they are usually spread all over the highway medians and wherever else people let them grow. But we have had so little rain this year that they are pretty hard to come by. So Blue and I headed down with a group of moms and their kids to the Wildflower Center where they have been regularly watering and tending their beds. Bluebonnets are best experienced in a huge field. We had to make do with a small bed; but for a kid like Blue, who is not yet mobile, it worked out fine. Good thing he can at least sit up...
