manasota BEACH club

Mid-May we met up with the Davis clan in Florida for a week of fun at the Manasota Beach Club. This was a trial run on the facility so we kept the crew tight and the dads weren't invited. The elder Davises manned the main house with Wiley and Blue. And Ashley and I and our babes got adjoining one-room beach cottages with an ocean view. We had the full week and after a few days in we had our routine down. It is always a bit of a juggle with nap times and meal times and rest time and play time. We were man on man so that helped! The summer is the off-season in Florida so we had the place and the beach mostly to ourselves. Blue turned into a fish and became so comfortable in the water. He has a tactile problem with the sand but he pushed through and had a good time. Wiley hung out around the edges of the water and enjoyed building sand castles. The little ones were less sure of the whole thing. Brother liked sitting in his crab floaty and being rocked along. Woods liked the sound of the waves but held on tight to mom.
