early morning KISSES

I used to play with the Photo Booth program on my computer all the time with Blue. He was always thoroughly amused. So I gave it a go with Wiley this morning while we were both still grubby in our PJs. Great timing, huh. She was less amused but gave me some smiles regardless.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Isn't her hair hilarious! It just sticks straight up. I don't foresee her having a problem with volume in the future...

TWICE as easy

Graham had a late meeting one evening last week so I had the babies to myself. Wiley got covered in some sort of messy food goo so I had no choice but to wash her. And Blue didn't want to miss out on the fun so I gave our first joint bath a go. Success!

 

 

 

 

Blue has taken a liking to Wiley's bath seat and uses it during his solo bath time. But he was happy to let Wiley have it back if it meant he got to be in the tub and play with her. I don't know why I thought it would be so hard. I think it is definitely the way to go.

a PHOTO flashback

Look what my mom found! 

No wonder I was so good, it wasn't my first time ;).

Apparently I am about 19 months here. The picture is funny to me because Blue would have very little interest in this sort of play equipment and yet, even in the dark, my parents could barely get me off the thing. He does seem to have inherited my sturdy build and cute face though.

intro to TRAPEZE

So, amazingly, there are no kids in this video. Just me at my Introduction to Trapeze class. Here you have the four runs I got to do on the high swing. There were some key differences between the trapeze and gymnastics form that were difficult to change but overall it was really pretty fun and easy. I would do more classes but they are pricy. I got this class at a discount online. A fun little afternoon break though.

It sure is funny to watch the little man sing/shout his favorite songs. He is so focused and serious about the whole thing. So here we have a sampling for posterity sake. And he is wearing his doctor jacket. So I guess, officially, this is Dr. Blue Davis on vocals for you all. The occasional background vocals provided by Miss Wiley True.

a flashback FAVORITE

I've been backing up all the photos and videos on my iPhone and rediscovered this favorite. It is definitely a sweet memory. I was days away from having Wiley and Graham had taken the day off for some pre-baby fun. It is amazing how much he has grown, in every possible way, in the past six months!
