Here is Blue posing next to our Christmas Eve dinner - five pounds of chuck roast.

the camera UPDATE

So the zoom on my camera lens is broken. I can still take pictures but have to adjust my physical position in order the frame the shot. Obviously this is not going to work. Luckily the resident family camera expert arrives next week and we are going shopping. In the meantime you will all have to put up with my goofy baby talk because the video camera is all we've got.

its COLD outside

Well, Texas-cold at least.



I love how around the 50 second mark his face starts fluctuating between happy and sad. We had been singing for a while at that point and even though he liked the song he was feeling a little tired.

a HARD day

So the two month birthday isn't such a happy day in baby world. They get their first round of vaccines which turned our sweet boy into a fussy boy. Not such a good moment but I thought I should document the day nonetheless.
















Funny enough though, right after I took this photo, Graham laid Blue down on his changing table and instant smiles. We even got a sort of chuckle out of him. That spot really is magic.

need of REPAIR

My camera is malfunctioning. I hesitate to say it is broken until I get a professional opinion. I hope Blue doesn't do anything too cute while it is out of commission.

In the meantime, I thought we could look back on how much Blue has grown. Tomorrow will be two months!

some baby TALK

Blue has recently become much more interactive. He will smile back at you when you start talking and smiling at him. And he loves to "talk". If you put him on his back he will sit there and coo away for a good long while. He doesn't need to be entertained but really loves to be around people, listening to their voices and looking around.
